NightWing doesn't remember his parents. Whether they were killed when he was very young or just wasn't around he doesn't know. To get by he had to steal from other pokemon living nearby normally snatching their food. He built up a reputation where he lived and everyone would make sure he never got close enough to take anything. He decided to begin traveling place to place steal whatever he wanted and needed to get by. He loved it though, stealing, it was fun for him. Anytime he would get caught he'd turn into the biggest baby ever and whine and beg for forgiveness. NightWing also had a drive to find valuable treasure no matter what. If he had to steal it he would if he had to kill to get it he would. He love treasure one could say he was obsessed with it. He also loved to fight which got him into many troubles along the way. When he evolved by stealing a dark stone from a traveling Jigglypuff NightWing felt that it was his right to be a somewhat of a treasure king. So now he goes from place to place doing whatever he can to please his desire for treasure and money.
